Note:Designations of the objects observed with 4MOST, a multi-object, spectroscopic survey facility of ESO's VISTA telescope (http://www.4most.eu). 4MOST will obtain spectra for a large variety of objects, ranging from all stellar types (including planetary host stars) in the Milky Way and some of its nearby satellites, to galaxies and AGN at all redshifts, and the interstellar/galactic medium. It will operate in surveys of 5 years, where at least three are currently foreseen (i.e., 15 years of operation).
Notes:Coordinates for the first 5 year survey is foreseen to be based on coordinates in the Gaia DR3 reference frame, ICRS epoch J2016. Truncation will be used.
