Visualizing Simbad data with SimPlay for your favorite object is as easy as 1-2-3 :

1. In the text field 'Target', enter an object name, or a position in J2000.
   
2. Press the Ok button to submit the query.
   
3. After a few seconds, Simbad objects of the requested region are displayed, overlaid on a background DSS color image.

Is it really that easy ? There is only one way to find out.

Here is an overview of SimPlay features you can use, once the data has been loaded:

• While pressing the left mouse button, you can drag the view in any direction to explore the data.
• Use the mouse wheel or the slider at the top right to zoom in and out.
• You can also display some basic information by moving the mouse cursor on any object.
• Clicking on the object will highlight the corresponding row in the bottom data panel.
• From this panel, clicking on an object name will open the corresponding Simbad page in your browser.
