TIPTOPbase

TIPTOPbase is a public, interactive database service implemented to access the atomic data computed in the international collaborations referred to as the Opacity Project (OP) and the IRON Project (IP). It is the upgrade of the TOPbase facility that was originally installed at CDS in 1993. The following databases and interactive servers are currently offered:

TOPbase: on-line interactive database containing LS atomic data (energy levels, f-values and photoionisation cross sections) computed in the OP
TIPbase: online interactive database containing fine-structure atomic data (energy levels, A-values and electron impact excitation collision strengths and rates) computed in the IP
OPserver: An interactive server at the Ohio Supercomputer Center for online computing of mean opacities and radiative accelerations for arbitrary chemical mixtures. Codes have been updated with the release of OPCD_3.3 (12-12-06).
AUTOSTRUCTURE: Online facility for computing LS and intermediate coupling energies, wavelengths, gf-values, A-values for allowed and forbidden transitions of light (Z < 30) ions. A relativistic Breit-Pauli Hamiltonian in a configuration-interaction framework is used.
OPCD_3.3: A complete package (data, codes, OPserver and instructions) to compute mean opacities and accelerations has been released on 12-12-06. It contains new software to install OPserver at the user's facilities. Download from Opacity Project home page.
Opacity Tables: Ensembles of opacity tables for specific (pre-determined) composition using The Opacity Project data. The tables are in the OPAL format and can be used in stellar structure and evolutionary codes. All the routines allready in stellar evolutionary codes using OPAL tables will work with these tables (under construction).

An access to the old version of the Opacity Project database (topbase) as described in the paper by Cunto et al. (1993A&A...275L...5C) is still possible from here.
